What Makes it Awesome

While starting off on a home decorating journey, most of us wish we had a friend who had an eye for pieces that go well together, to help put together a look that's elegant, chic, and fitting to our vision. If you're setting up a new home and don't know where to start, let Théorie Studio be that friend for some much needed inspiration.

Housed in a beautiful Jubilee Hills bungalow, this studio has products curated by architect and designer Unnati Pingle and is artsy from the get go. We spotted huge Shekhawati doors undergoing a transformation as we headed upstairs to the store. As soon as we entered the place took our breath away — it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding areas from its stunning balcony space.

Every room and nook in the studio is designed to look like you're entering someone's home — fully furnished with couches, rugs, side tables, lamps, coasters, credenzas — the works. What's cool is that you can shop for everything on display. We found some beautiful hand painted Rattan wine cabinets, rugs, fabric lamp shades, ceramics, wall art and table linen at the store. We also found some gorgeous ceramics from Oleemate.

Once we were done gawking at every piece here, we were happy to discover that there's an entire floor upstairs as well. We love that their eclectic collection fuses traditional Indian art forms like the Pichwai paintings and wooden carvings into contemporary pieces like cabinets that can be used in your home.

Every corner of this studio screams art, and is a stunning curation of products that would brighten up any corner of your home, adding character instantly. You can DM them on Instagram to request for a catalogue, or drop by at the store to check out their latest finds.
