We love local bookstores, big or small, fancy or not, and like Akshara Book Store, The Luna Book Store has our heart as well. But what’s different about this place? It has the quaint aesthetic of a novel-worthy bookstore. Two floors tall, you will find yourself surrounded by books from new releases highlighted in the front to classics. Fiction, non-fiction, murder mystery, spiritual, and mythological, you will find every genre here along with some Telugu reads too. What’s missing is a coffee machine is to make a quiet, reading spot but hey, we love it either way.

The indoor seating is pretty standard, with comfy tables, quirky posters on the walls, and a gaming shelf but their outdoor area is where the real vibe is. We love the beauty umbrellas on tables and cute blue window frames on the walls. Very chic, very demure.

Where to go for weekend gigs? One of our most visited places is Air Live in Jubilee Hills for a fab live music scene. The drinks are good, the food is good and the vibe is just right. Even if you are here on a weekday, good music will put you in a good mood. The other thing we like about Air Live is, unlike other similar places, this one is decently big with lots of room to groove and the stage put in a corner. That said, expect it to be packed during weekends.
