Bogatha Waterfalls

Located at a 5-hour drive away from Hyderabad, Bogatha Waterfalls abounds in greenery with an epic view of hills. Adrenaline junkies can rejoice as reaching these waterfalls require trekking, and there are plenty of water activities. Often regarded as the Niagara Falls of Telangana, Bogatha attracts a lot of crowds during the weekends. While you’ll find a lot of people swimming in the water, we advise you to exercise some caution before taking a plunge, as it has several rocks. Go here after the monsoons or from June to witness a large flow of water.

Mallela Theertham Waterfalls is located near Srisailam and has a simple hike where you have to cross around 380 well-laid steps to reach the waterfall, which is at a height of 150 feet. You can take part in activities like the river crossing if you like. We'd recommend this if you’re looking for a day of solitude in dense greens. The Monsoons get mucky, and the Summers are dry, so, the best time to visit it is between October and February.

Kuntala Falls

Kuntala Waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in Telangana and are nestled in the dense forests of Adilabad. To reach Kuntala, you might have to hike down 400 steps from where you can enjoy the entire view of the waterfalls. Locals believe that King Dushyanth and Shakuntala fell in love here and that she was fond of these waterfalls, which is how it got its name. Now, that’s a story worth visiting the waterfalls for.

Located 200 km away from Hyderabad, Bheemuni Padam is a sight not to miss if you’re visiting Warangal. While you can check out the caves beside the waterfalls, we highly recommend visiting the waterfall during sunrise, as the water shines in rainbow colours.

Just 19 kilometres from Kuntala Waterfalls, this place is blessed with a scenic landscape as it's untouched by urbanization, which is why it's quickly becoming a famous spot for a number of travellers. Famous among locals for its calm and beauty, you can witness the water gushing down from a height of more than 100 feet and forming a natural pool below."

Pochera Falls

At 266 km from Hyderabad, Pochera Falls on the Kadam River is a treat for the eyes. You'll have to climb many steps to reach the spot, and after a good cardio session, you can walk around the waterfalls and take in the sound of the fierce water. Be extra careful and carry the right gear, as it can be a bit risky considering Telangana's sporadic rainy outbursts.

A camper-friendly waterfall near Vizag, Kaitiki Waterfalls is near Borra Caves. You can see the peak of the water level between August and October.
