Alive Cafe will quickly make you switch to healthy eating, and if you haven't visited it yet, I'm here to convince you. Located in the same building as Starbucks, F45, and Free Flow, Alive Cafe is easily one of those cafes that's right out of a Kinfolk magazine. It's done up entirely in white and there are lots of plants. It's really quaint; the seating is pretty comfy, and the tables are decked with succulents. More than just Instagram worthy is what I'd say. The cafe believes in clean and healthy eating and serves up delicious and filling food. I've been keen on tasting their Buddha Bowls which are whipped using fresh and local produce and got my hands on Fermented Fusion Bowl with Kombucha Tofu and Power Bowl. The fusion bowl arrived beautifully — I mean, it looked too good to be eaten. It comes with turmeric cauliflower, cashew cheese, seeds, foxtail millet, kale, and more awesomeness. I really loved how the cheese complemented the tofu. The Power Bowl comes with smashed chickpeas or grilled chicken, avocado, baby spinach, pesto, and black rice. Of course, there's roasted squash too which makes all the difference to this bowl. For those of you who love a bowl of miso dearly, there's Miso Happy Bowl too. The Buddha Bowls can be quite filling and if you'd like something light, check out Sweet Potato Pancakes, Buckwheat Crepes, or even smoothie bowls. Don't forget to end your meal with a Hibiscus & Kokum Kombucha. Sorted!
