While all of us watch animal photos and videos on YouTube and Instagram, we don't do enough for them in reality and that's sad. Though not all of us can have pets, the least we can do is provide water to the strays. With a similar aim, Animal Water Bowl Project India is an initiative that started in 2017 that spent lakhs in making free cement water bowls for stray animals and birds. Dogs, cats, and birds can't distinguish between clean water and muddy water which is why you see them drink water from puddles and ditches. Animal lovers, this is where you should come forward.
How can you make this happen? AWBP India frequently conducts events and pop-ups where they give away cement water bowls free of cost. You have to make sure that wherever you place them (preferably near your house, under some shade), it has to be filled with water at all times and needs to be cleaned every day. That's it. Apart from this, you can also volunteer to spread awareness about this initiative by officially registering with them. Doesn't sound like a big task right?
