Annyeonghaseyo! This Authentic Korean Restaurant In Hyderabad Is A Must-Visit

If you're riding the Hallyu wave with BTS, Blackpink and a host of K-Dramas that make us swoon and cry like nobody's business, you've got to visit this authentic Korean restaurant in Hyderabad. Goguryeo Restaurant at Hitec City is run by Koreans and serves authentic Korean cuisine, including the famous stove-top barbecue you may have seen in several shows and movies! 

The ambience is simple, decorated with posters of Korean celebs and musicians, including our favourite BTS members! All the tables have provisions to start a stove-top barbecue while you remain seated. Make yourself comfortable as the friendly staff approaches you to take a pick from their extensive menu. There's Rameyon, Kimbap, Bibimbap, Tteokbokki, and Japchae bap aside from Korean style vegetable pancakes and dumplings aside from other Korean specials on the menu. 

We recommend getting a round of their special stove-top barbecues, especially if you're visiting with a group of friends. We tried Gochujang Bulgogi Pork Barbecue that's served with marinated slices of pork grilled live on a stove-top griddle. They have Samgyeopsal Barbecue (pork belly) and Cheese Dak-Galbi (chicken) variants on the menu as well. You also get a host of Banchan (condiments) along with the barbecue that includes pickled vegetables, and ofcourse, their house-made Kimchi! 

If you'd like to take some home, Goguryeo is probably the best place in Hyderabad to score some home-made Kimchi using the authentic recipe sans preservatives. The half kg bottle will cost you around INR 600. While the price point is tad steep here, we'd recommend Goguryeo for their authentic Korean food. 

The restaurant owners are super friendly and might chat up with you at some point during your meal to share your common love for all things Korean!
