What Makes It Awesome?

The Bangalore Famous Donne Biryani is finally in Hyderabad now by the name Chickpet Donne Biryani. We had tried the Kondapur Outlet. They are opened from Tuesday to Sunday, as they are closed on Monday. They are opened both for Lunch and Dinner.

Talking about the ambience, it is cosy and it is on point with minimalistic wall paintings. The place is jam-packed with the customers waiting for their turn to enjoy the Donne Biryani.

We had started with few starters like Guntur Chicken, this was nicely cooked with in house masala and the chicken was tender as well. Guntur Chicken was spicy enough as they did not compromise with the spiciness. Mutton Fry, this one also tasted good with all the masala & gravy nicely coated with the tender-licious mutton. Pepper Chicken, I should say this was the star in the Starters as you can feel the neatness of pepper in each and every bite & Chicken Lollipop, these were very good. I personally liked Lollipop. Next from the

Main course we had Chicken Lollipop Biryani, Mutton Biryani & Non - Veg Combo Biryani, Chicken Drumstick Biryani. Donne Biryani means big sized cups /bowls made from areca nut palm leaf & Banana leaves. You can feel the aroma of the leaf aroma as well when the biryani as been served. Donne Biryani comes with the Basket with 2 locks at the sides. If you open the locks the Basket can be transformed into a plate. For all the Biryanis, the rice is the common base which is being served with "Chitti Muthyalu rice" the rice has lots of flavour with the local masala, but the nutmeg flavour was dominating the dishes. Whenever you order a variety of Biryani, the rice would be same and the toppings would be added as Chicken Lollipop, Mutton, Kshatriya chicken. Talking about the Non-veg Combo we get one Chicken Donne biryani along with 3-4 pieces of Chicken starters. The Chicken Starters were good in the combo. Well if you come over here you can have an experience of trying the Donne Biryani which can be a sideline deviation from eating the regular Biryani.

Well, this is my opinion on the Chickpet Donne Biryani. If you want to try some different variety of Biryani and bored of eating the regular Biryani, this would be your choice. Hope you all like the review.
