A View To Die For: Dine At These Beach-View Restaurants In Vizag

Tucked away in Rushikonda, Shore Front Resort's Delicasea is a must-visit for seafood lovers! The architecture of the restaurant reminds you of a rustic home. Step inside and you'll find yourself gawking at the earthy ambience of the restaurant. As the name suggests, this restaurant boasts of a stunning view of Rushikonda Beach. If you're looking for something more than seafood, go for biryani and grills. This resort has two more restaurants that you can check out — Vitaminsea and Privasea. Both share the same beach view. 

Percolator Coffee House in Maharanipeta attracts coffee lovers to its yard because of its sea-view. Picture yourself here with a Roasted Hazelnut Latte and Smores Crepe. The cafe is located on top of Matsyadarshini and it has such Instagram-worthy decor accents. Along with 'gramming your coffee with beach backdrop, you'll surely do it with the decor as background too. If you're looking for a proper meal, go for Grilled Fish Burger, Chic-N-Bomb Garlic Bread, Meat Ball Pasta, Chicken Pot Biryani, or Stuffed Chicken Sizzler. The biryanis here are quite popular and you can pair them with Thums Up (a classic) or iced teas. 

Special night with your SO? A dinner night at Bamboo Bay is what you need. Located in Lawson's Bay, this one overlooks the Lawson's Bay beach and in all honesty — the view is to die for. We recommend going for the outdoor seating (so you can hear the gentle sound of the waves). The menu comprises of Andhra, Chettinadu, Mughlai dishes along with tandoor and local delicacies. Three things you must absolutely chow down: Mirapakayi Kodi Masala, Yera Thengai Pal Ishtu (tiger prawns cooked in coconut milk), and Dum Ki Machli. Of course, you cannot miss out on Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and Gosht Shikampuri Kebab. 

Yet another spot in Rushikonda — Sai Priya Beach Resort is home to two sea-view restaurants. Another Fine Day is known for its grandiosity. Apt for a celebratory family dinner overlooking the beach and smacked in the center of palm and coconut trees — this restaurant is open from 6am to 11pm. Try their seafood delicacies or Indo-Chinese dishes if that's what your mood demands. Bay Retreat is another restaurant inside the property and if you'd like to grab a casual meal, head here. Both the restaurants share the same view of Rushikonda Beach. 

Sea Deck has to be our personal favourite and for a reason! Located inside the world's first handicraft hotel, Andhra Arts & Crafts Hotel on Kirlampudi Layout, this one spells opulence. Honestly, you'll have a tough time digging into the food because of its ambience and the view. But when you're done gawking at the artisanal ambience, have a conversation with the staff to know what's the fresh catch of the day. From biryani and comfort food like sambar rice to a wide curation of Andhra delicacies — there's a lot to eat up! Make haste and order in so you can savour the view with a drink, as you wait for the meal to arrive. 

We've obviously kept the best for the last — The Anchor. This one's right next to D Cabana in Sagar Nagar and it features the most Instagram-worthy ambience. With lush coconut trees for company and repurposed boats for outdoor seating — very little can go wrong here. Plus, there's the same isolated beach that you can gawk at. Offering some of the best seafood dishes in Vizag, The Anchor's Patrani Machi, Chicken Lollipop, Murgh Tikka Angara attracts food lovers from across the city. Besides, its Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani and Prawns Biryani are top-notch. Just grab a seat, get comfortable, and eat your way to glory because you won't stop with just one dish.
