The legacy of Balaji Mahesh has surpassed almost 70 years. This is the third generation with thorough knowledge running this brand. They not only have sweets that are vegan and sugar-free but also serve amazing chaat items. I was invited here for a food tasting table.
Among the chaat items I tried out the Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri (served with 3 variants of pani - orange hing, jaljeera and pudina), aloo toast topped with lots of sev, delicious dhokla soaked in sweet and tangy water and served with date sauce, bhel puri and a huge and filling Kachori Chaat. Each of these items was delicious and very nominally priced.
Among the sweets that I tried my favourites were the strawberry Rasamalai, Litchi rasamalai, Dudh gulla and the Badam milk. They also have a range of sweets created only with honey. For the sugar-free sweets, they use a gel that is primarily extracted from vegetables to get the sweetness.
I loved my visit here and the service was perfect. This place is an absolute must-visit with fresh sweets being created every day
