There is no denying that eating out is an increasingly expensive affair, but restaurants and pubs in the city seem to, fortunately, understand our plight. More and more pubs in the city are now offering combo meals for a fraction of prices for the variety, and when it involves some of our favourite pubs, we can only be too happy. Here is a list of hangout spaces in the city that have pub-combo meals to ease the pain on our pockets.

10 Downing Street
One of the first places to introduce combo meals in Hyderabad, this suave pub offers lunch combos at both its outlets that include one soup/pint/cocktail/beverage, plus a main course dish of your choice. Choose between Continental, Indian or Chinese pre-plated dishes from the menu, and a dessert. There aren’t any more specifications to this combo, but the pub recommends their Shepherd’s Pie and we recommend their lasagna. So go here during lunch breaks between work or for a lunch meet with squad and enjoy more for less. Their vegetarian combo costs INR 260 (plus taxes) and the non beg combo costs INR 280 (plus taxes) per person.
Heart Cup Coffee
Heart Cup Coffee offers combo meals at two of their branches — Begumpet and Kondapur. It is referred to as HCC’s Lunch Break, and both their vegetarian and non-vegetarian combos have four set options to choose from. They have Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine that includes options like Kadai Sabzi, Dal Makhani, flavoured rice, hakka noodles, and arrabbiata pasta with garlic bread and more. In the non-vegetarian section, you can find Mutton Rogangosh and Butter Chicken with tandoori roti and soft egg noodles with chicken Manchurian gravy, as well as chicken pasta. Along with this, you get to pick from regular or IMFL beer, a cup of hot coffee or a mock-tail too based on your preference. You also get complimentary salad and dessert with each of these combos.The vegetarian options are priced at INR 289 (plus taxes) and the non-veg combos are for INR 339 (plus taxes) per person.
News Cafe inside Inorbit Mall also offers combo lunches with an appetiser, a main course, and a complimentary drink. Vegetarians can choose from the likes of jalapeno poppers and quesadillas, whereas non-vegetarians can choose from BBQ Wings, chicken satay, fish and chips and more, before moving on to the main course. Go for a falafel burger if you’re a vegetarian or try out their Alfredo pasta chicken with a 200 ml glass of draught beer. The veg combo costs INR 249, the non-veg combo costs INR 299. The sea-food combo comes up to INR 349 per person (Additional taxes may apply).
Club Rogue in Gachibowli has great deals in their lunch combos. Get your pick of drinks ranging from Kingfisher beer (330ml), veg/ chicken corn soup, Mango Mule mock-tail, a virgin mojito or a soft drink, a main of vegetarian or non-vegetarian dish. From veg and chicken Manchurian to fried rice and tomato dal, they have it all. Follow this meal with delicious scoops of ice cream of your favourite flavours. While a vegetarian combo is available for INR 225 (plus taxes), a non-veg combo is available for INR 250 (plus taxes).
Over The Moon Brewing Co
This bar and brew in Gachibowli is a version of the renowned Over The Moon air lounge in Jubilee Hills, and they have made their delicious food and brews available at super cheap prices with their combo deals. All the options on their lunch platter that include classical caesar salad, fusilli with tomato pilati, butter chicken with butter naan, laccha onions, raita and papad, and exotic dishes like Vietnam rice bowl veg and non-veg, pad thai noodles with chicken and egg. These pre-plated main course options are filling and you can avail a glass of any of their house brews too. The price for this meal is INR 350 (all inclusive).

The happy meals at TGIF are known to be the happiest, and now they've introduced combo platters which have 11-12 dishes for you to pick from. Although they have a few vegetarian options like the cutlet salad, pizza with onion rings and mustard dip, most of their combo meals are for non-vegetarians. From sea-food to chicken platters, get yourself a filling serving. Pair it up with either a lemonade, Coke or Fanta. Err, we know this isn't exactly a pub-combo meal, but for the love of TGIF, we know a lot of you would love to dine here, even in the absence of alcohol. These combo meals are available throughout the week at just INR 295 (plus taxes).
