Come Friday and you're looking for restaurants for team lunches, no? We've been there, done that and after tucking into several lunch buffets, we think these restaurants are awesome for team outing lunches.

The Grand Trunk Road

Touted as one of the best buffets in town, we love The Grand Trunk Road in Madhapur for its artsy walls and ambience. The walls of the restaurant are painted with signs such as 'Horn Ok Please' and the like that one would usually spot on lorries. It has two lorries, with one serving as a seating area for a large group, and the other is put up at the entrance easing you in. The lighting of the area reminds you of a highway dhaba! As you enter, you'll spot a chaat and kulfi stalls. Order in your buffet and start with a plate of aloo chaat or jalebi.

Sahib's Barbeque

If you work in Hitech City, we know you're always looking for new places to lunch at. If BBQ is your jam and you're done with most of the mainstream ones (which are great too), we recommend hitting up Sahib's Barbeque. Known for its seekh kebabs and shikampuris, you can get haleem, tawa starters along with barbecue, and biryani, of course. For those of you who cannot think of a buffet without a live counter, allow us to tell you that these folks have a Pathar Ka Grill, shawarma live counter, and chaat counters.

Gudgudee

Fairly new but smashing — Gudgudee is an all-vegetarian restaurant and you won't regret being shakahari for a meal. Perfect for team lunches, this restaurant has authentic floor seating, delicious Asian food, and a sweet view. You can go for their buffet at INR 499 or INR 599 (on weekends), but note that it comes with a limited menu. Their biryani is amazing and if paneer biryani is on the buffet menu, please go for it.

Masquerade by Mystery Rooms

Masquerade is Mystery Rooms' first cafe in India where you can play games, grab a milkshake, or tuck into a proper meal. For those of you who love board games, you can team up with your squad and play it old style. If you're looking for a team lunch or outing that's hatke from other buffets, you might want to give this a shot. The buffet is going to set you back at INR 599 on weekdays and INR 699 on weekends.

The Fisherman's Wharf

Find a little bit of Goa in Hyderabad at The Fisherman's Wharf. Find your way through the seafood and Goan delicacies, and call it a party. But if you love desserts or the Goan-specialty, Bebinca, this might be the only place in the city where you can grab a bite of it. All of this in a buffet? Yaaas!

Little Italy

If you love your share of pasta and pizza, you're totes lucky that Little Italy is an all-vegetarian kitchen that throws an awesome buffet. And may we add, Sunday brunch too? We love their assortment of hummus, salsa, dips that go perfectly with your nachos, pita, and bread. While here, you can also whip your own salads and canapes at their live counters. Be sure to end your meal with plenty of desserts or pancakes.

Over The Moon Brew Co

We know most of the team lunches are sober but if you are looking for a lunch that involves daaru, it cannot get better than Over The Moon Brew Co. Order yourself a craft beer and eat all things from kebabs and crispy corn to pizza and biryani. Sounds like a plan, right? And the best part is the buffet costs you INR 590.

China Bistro

We might have visited China Bistro a couple of times, and their buffet has always been top-notch. Whether you love dim sums or Mongolian Chicken, there is a fine spread for you to tuck into. Starting with a piping hot soup, the starters arrive at your table, and then there are plenty of desserts too.

Jonathan's Kitchen

Jonathan's Kitchen is arguably one of the best Italian restaurants in Hyderabad. If you're up for a luxurious team lunch, this has to be your best bet. Their brunch has dishes like shawarma, Khao Suey, sushi and other global favourites. Plus, their chef never shies away from experimenting with food. So, if you are there and you want to try out something that’s not on the menu, check with the kitchen, and you might be in for a surprise.
