What's Happening

Are you always on a hunt to discover lesser-known bioscopes or well-made documentaries? Especially the ones that aren't found in a multiplex. You've got to sprint to the screening of Dhoolpet Ganesha — a documentary by Anantha Perumal, an independent filmmaker. This documentary will take you through the nine-day long festivities of Ganesh Puja that is set in a working-class community. We've heard that Anantha has effectively brought to screen the story of the community that fully immerses itself in the festivities while paddling through financial predicaments, personal differences.

Can't wait to watch it already? Watch it before Dhoolpet Ganesha travels to other parts of the country (and maybe beyond).

How's The Venue

It's happening at Paidi Jairaj Preview Theatre in Ravindra Bharathi, which is one of the best cultural venues in Hyderabad.

Price Includes

The entry is free, but if you're interested in dishing out an amount as you wish, you can do so at the event.

Make A Note

Want to encourage indie filmmakers and documentaries? You can host a free screening of Dhoolpet Ganesha by gathering 20-30 individuals. Dhoolpet Ganesha will travel to your workspace, living room, or a cafe. While the screening is free, you can always pay for watching it. Also, this is a Telugu documentary with English subtitles.
