What Makes It Awesome

Was The Pasta Bar Veneto your jam a few years ago? If you were quite down when that rooftop pasta bar closed, you've got to check out The Pasta Rasta - a new restaurant that has opened its place. Before you hop in, do take a picture in the narrow (and sunny) pathway that leads to the restaurant. With several sections like outdoors, indoors, and rooftop, pick what attracts your tribe and settle for an evening of Avril Lavigne or The Chainsmokers playing in the background. Bright coloured seats are put against white washed walls and plenty of sunshine streams into the restaurant. It's colourful, fun, and lovely. All the usual suspects like pasta, risotto, varieties of gnocchi are found. We thought the starters had a bit of desi flavour but the main course - whether it's a dish of Aglio Olio or grilled vegetables, they are delicious. While there are sandwiches, sizzlers and the like, we recommend playing safe and sticking to the pasta and pizza variants only. No matter what you choose, the rooftop gives a splendid view of the city. So, sit back, eat pasta, and count those stars in the night sky!

What Could Be Better

The service was super slow and we felt the staff were clueless about a lot of dishes. Several dishes mentioned on the menu weren't even available but we understand it's a new restaurant and hope they would fix those issues soon.
