Berries are among the healthiest foods you can eat. They’re delicious, nutritious, and provide several impressive health benefits. As the Winters are passing off in Hyderabad, the first thought that comes to my mind is when am I going to get back strawberries & berries and restaurants launching their strawberry menus. Well, you don't have to wait for any further until the Winters sets in. Fresh from the Valley of Mahableshwar continues to bring berrylicious joys of Mahabaleshwar to Mumbai and now to Hyderabad, Bomberry, a Mahabaleshwar brand which belives firmly in the farm-to-table concept.
Bomberry is the brainchild of Bansri and Vraj Shah & they firmly believe that they are happy to bring the classic taste of Mahabaleshwar to the land of Nawabs in Hyderabad. With food preference increasingly leaning towards healthy and natural ingredients, Bomberry is a to-go place for vegans and vegetarians.
Bomberry which is located with close to proximity to Natural Ice-cream joint in Jubilee Hills on the most popular Road No 36, is a master franchise & looks similar to the one in Tardeo in Mumbai. It is truly meant for the foodies in the city who want fresh fruits and vegetables from the farms of Mahabaleshwar. The menu which is mostly dominated by drinks and smoothies also includes a vegan section that features very good fresh fruit desserts. These vegan smoothies minus added sweeteners double up as a healthy light meal.
We happened to visit this place on for a quick dinner wherein we started with Cheese Bombardment which was a sandwich packed up with mozzarella in the middle and inside too with chilli flakes, oregano and other herbs. It was soft and melted in the mouth, but spicy nevertheless. Adding to this, we also got a Mahabaleshwar Cheese club sandwich which was equally good in terms of taste. Following this from the savouries, we got Chipotle Mushroom Corn which was a wrap loaded with fresh corn, chipotle styled tossed mushrooms diced with onion and other spices, tasted great making it a delicious and healthy pick.
Next up we went for their signature smoothie — the Berrylicious Bowl, which is a thick strawberry pulp with cut berries, banana slices and chia seeds perched on top. Mildly sweet and loaded with nutrition, this one feels like a guilt-free eat. Bomberry is known to supply their fruits from the yards of Mahabaleshwar itself, hence we went for their signature cream creations, Bomberry Strawberry Cream and Berry Cream, these two are the top picks from the menu as they are just perfect for all the dessert lovers and comprises of delightful berries tasting delicious.
No doubt that Bomberry is best at what it does and they are making sure that the seasonal delights from Mahabaleshwar can be savoured all through the year. Before you drool more, I suggest you head there soon & surrender yourself to these exquisite strawberry and mulberry creations.
