This time I wanted to come out of fine and casual dining properties to try out a hidden gem for Onam Sadhya. In the quest of finding one, ended up at Lakshmi Kerala Mess & Catering. This small place in the by lanes of Bowenpally run by Mr Sunil a native of Kerala settled here from 15 years and running this. Out of my experience with Kerala food, I would say this is an authentic Sadhya out of Kerala I had till date from Hyderabad. Glad I found this which made my Onam meal memorable.
He has got a store that sells Kerala specialities and an extended dining room that fits 8-10 serving Kerala thali in lunch & dinner at 70INR. When asked for the reason behind starting this place, “They're a lot of Keralites doing either internship or working in Air India Central Training Establishment and I know how it would be being far from home food. So I thought I would do my part in making them feel home with food. I also have customers coming from far distance like Gachibowli, Lingampally, Ameerpet and I find happiness in serving them “ Says Sunil with a heartful smile.
