Your Two-Hour Journey Will Soon Take 50 Minutes As The Metro Will Connect Ameerpet & LB Nagar

The information in this post might be outdated

This is just what we've been waiting for. Hyderabad Metro is all set to run between Ameerpet and LB Nagar, and we're planning to make those long rides happen. Especially visiting those friends who live in the other corner of the city. The trial runs and tests have been running for weeks now, and it will be inaugurated on Sep 24th, succeeding which it'll be open to the public. There will be a frequency of just five minutes between each train and we're glad we don't have to wait too long. Even if we have to, Ameerpet station is decked up with food stalls and mini flea-markets to keep us occupied. Plus, if you're planning to travel to Miyapur from LB Nagar, you can use Ameerpet as your pitstop. While it takes two hours to traverse this route on road, the metro is said to complete the ride in 55 minutes. What more do we need?
