If you thought re-creating a Lego house was hard, we can totally feel your plight when you order something from IKEA. It’s been a while since the IKEA Hej Homes, the country’s first experience centre was set up at the Forum Sujana Mall, and with a massive store {40,000 square foot} launching next month, we have just the news that’s going to get you all the more excited about your IKEA experience. The Swedish brand has partnered with one of the fastest growing start-ups and service provider, UrbanClap to send trained carpenters to put together your purchases. IKEA will be training the carpenters and up-skilling them to be professional assemblers. You can avail their services using the UrbanClap app and the carpenter will reach your location within 90 minutes. How cool is that? We’ve got help until we polish our DIY skills. Yay! We think it’s a great way to engage the local community to be a part of IKEA and to hone their skills in the process. We can’t wait to get a room makeover, now that we know we’ve got help too.
