Ticked off Charminar on your Hyderabad must-visit spots list? What about the fifth minar? Jewel Of Nizam in Golkonda Resort is an award-winning restaurant for authentic Hyderabadi cuisine, and we locals wear it as a proud badge. With royal seating 100 feet above the ground, you get to have a lavish meal with a spectacular view of Osman Sagar, another Nizami fame.

Speaking of, everything about this place screams royalty. The interiors mirror the erstwhile style with paintings, vintage artefacts, grand chandeliers, opulent carpets, and royal blue seating. The elevator is also adorned with intricate meenakari work. If this excites you already, wait till you taste their elaborate Hyderabadi and Mughlai menu.

Prepared with recipes from the royal past, the aroma of the food itself will pull you into the restaurant faster than anything. They have plenty of non-vegetarian options and a decent selection of vegetarian choices, making this feast an experience for all. If you’re lucky enough to find seasonal dishes on their menu, we suggest you definitely order those. They have nice seating near glass windows, so if you're celebrating something special, we suggest you time it right and catch a beautiful sunset.

Our favourites include Bharwan Tangdi, Varqui Lukme, Minar-e-Khaas kebab platter, Barkas Patthar Ghost, Subz Varqui Lukme, Hyderabadi Subz Seekh, Hyderabadi Khatti Dal, and Kacchi Dum Biryani. Yes, we couldn’t choose just a few so we leave you with plenty of suggestions. When it comes to dessert, we heart the Anokhi Kheer and Apricot Pudding, which you will appreciate if you have an extremely sweet tooth like us. Their drinks menu covers everything from sparkling wines, classic cocktails and delicious mocktails to wash off everything and clean the palette.
