What Makes It Awesome?

‘Hotel Niagara’ was established in 1959 at Chaderghat, Hyderabad by Mr Iqbal Ahmed as a small cafe which served chai to its patrons. The name Niagara was a trendsetter back in those days and people used to park their bicycles at the cycle stand in front and budged in to have a leisure break. Pakistani qawwals Sabri brothers, Urdu poets and writers have often visited this legendary outlet.

The restaurant is currently a 200 seater space with family halls, private dining areas and banquet halls that serves Hyderabadi delicacies to food lovers of all age groups. Apart from their famous Irani chai and Nihari Paaya in the mornings, they are one of the pioneers of Hyderabadi dum biriyani and Haleem in the city. The old parcel counter is crowded with delivery boys waiting for their order while others storm by the tables to enjoy a delicious meal at the hotel.
