    What Makes It Awesome

Mahatma Gandhi Digital Museum is the first permanent interactive museum on Peace Truth Ahimsa in India. They provide four programmes here. ‘I am Gandhi’ is where students are taken through a four-hour interactive experience,  'Invoking Gandhi' takes an individual around the world where presidents, popstars, cities, nations and some of the largest brands in the world invoke Gandhi (this is a three-hour session), talks by Birad Rajaram Yajnik and 12 days tour of South Africa (it includes six historic locations, five museums, three interactive workshops and meetings with historians, educationists and personalities that have dedicated their lives in the name of Gandhi in South Africa).

Also, it has a mobile store, which is said to be the first of its kind in the country. The mobile store at Bapu Ghat, Langar Houz, has over 100 souvenirs, ranging from apparel, books, bags, desktop accessories, figurines, personal accessories, timepieces, and writing instruments. It is an initiative of Visual Quest India, a design and technology firm based here and Eternal Gandhi, a corporate social responsibility initiative of the Aditya Birla Group.

PS: Apart from Hyderabad, the museums are located in Australia and in South Africa.
