We are sure that you've heard of Mystery Rooms and if you've ever wanted to grab snacks after a mindboggling game, here's a surprise. Masquerade is Mystery Rooms' first cafe in India where you can play games, grab a milkshake, or tuck into a proper meal. For those of you who love board games, you can team up with your squad and play it old style. With plenty of video games or VR games, a limited but good collection of books, your entire day is sorted here. Even if you are all by yourself, you can lounge around.
As you enter, you're welcomed by an armour. Take a tour around — you'll find how well the cafe is designed in yellows, blues, and greens. Decked with masks and elements like toy robots, motorcycles, we cannot tell you how Instagram worthy this place is. Plus, the Mystery Rooms are done up with vintage British design, and you take a flight of stairs to play these games.
We started our meal with Honey Chilli Potato, Malai Broccoli, nachos and dim sum basket. In dim sums, we asked for a portion of Mushroom, Broccoli & Chilli (spicy, delicious, and not for the faint-hearted), and Broccoli & Almonds. Served with more than four types of accompaniments, this was a basket of joy. The nachos and Malai Broccoli left us polishing them off to bits before we moved on to Peri Peri Pulled Chicken Slider. Love how charred the patty was! The next to arrive — Mushroom & Tomato Fried Rice — we quite never imagined how delicious mushroom and tomato can go together. This is a little food experiment that we enjoyed. There is a whole range of pizzas, appetisers, tacos that you can try, based on your mood. Want to drink something? Try the Cinderella (a fresh juice made from orange, guava, cranberry) or go for Masquerade's Mystery Melon that is said to have some mysterious flavours. It comes in a musk melon with a face made from Oreo, walnuts, and jellies, and we could taste banana, gems, and an insane amount of jellies in the shake. This is for those of you who enjoy thick milkshakes with fruity flavours.
