Did you know that Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad is approximately 200 years old and one of the biggest zoos in the country? Due to the pandemic that we're facing right now, it's not possible (and advised) to visit the zoo physically but our Minister of Forest and Environment has made our zoo go online, so we don't miss out on what's happening.
Wildlife enthusiasts, excited much? The officials have launched a website where you can read about their wildlife conservation and research programs, upcoming events, all the animals and birds in the zoo, and watch their amusing videos.
The authorities have recently hosted a virtual slogan writing and quiz contest on the theme of Bio-Diversity and released a video of a Mouse Deer in its habitat, so watch out for more on their website.
