Bars To Cafes: Have You Checked Out These New Places In Hyderabad?
Tarz Creators Studio & Cafe
Tarz Creators Studio & Cafe is brand new and it just opened up in Film Nagar. Done up in the hues of pinks and blues, this cafe is certainly Instagram-worthy. They serve up a wide range of cuisines that include North Indian, Middle-Eastern, and cafe food. From grills like Indian Salmon to Israeli Hummus — although the options are limited, you'll find a reason to go back. This is because the menu is carefully crafted. They've also got an elaborate coffee menu with specialty coffee apart from the regulars. Ask for a V60 Pour Over and settle down for an evening of work!
The Bar Stock Exchange
May we say we were pleasantly surprised with our experience at The Bar Stock Exchange? Home to great multi-cuisine food and pocket-friendly drinks, if you haven't been here yet, it's about time. We were able to grab a glass of sangria at INR 199 and that was probably the highlight of our day. We totally recommend trying out Tandoori Mushroom (tossed in masalas and served with pudina chutney and tomato chutney) which left us licking our forks. We've also tried the Khow Suey which was quite authentic, and if you're in the mood for sizzlers, go for the Chicken Tikka one. It's too good to be true!
Fonće Chocolatier is a premium chocolate cafe that opened up on Road No. 59, Jubilee Hills, and it's got a stunning ambience. Expect lots of wall art and greens and if you're picking the outdoor seating (which you should), you'll have a fantastic time. They serve up exotic chocolate, great cheesecakes and pastries! Another thing worth trying is their range of breads. Love croissants? Their croissant sandwiches are touted to be one of the best in Hyderabad. You can also pick banana bread, multigrain loaves, croissants on your way out.
Home to good furry boys and great coffee, Toops Homebrew in Jubilee Hills is a must-visit for all coffee lovers. We've only heard great things about this quaint coffee shop, that's run out of his garage. Run by Sooraj Toopalli, this cafe serves specialty coffee and sometimes, bagels. But for that, you need to keep an eye on Toop's Instagram page to know when bagels or croissants are available. You can get a taste of coffees from estates like Corridor Seven, Blue Tokai, Riverdale, etc. Whether you're in the mood for a cold brew or a cappuccino, get here. If you have a pet, take him too!
Blue Block Club
Blue Block Club, as the name suggests is a club that's done up in blues (and also blacks). This new club in Jubilee Hills has North Indian, Chinese, and continental dishes. Although they don't have a great wine selection, they've got an interesting range of cocktails like Fiesty-Fashioned and Fairy Rita. Plus, they've got BBC Special cocktails too and we recommend checking out with the bartender on what goes well with the dishes you pick. Dash straight to their Lamb Boti Kebab and Kung Pao Chicken Pot. They've also got lots of pizza, pasta, bar snacks, and Indian main-course.
In the mood for authentic North Indian dishes? Tucked away in Gandipet, Uttari is where you should drive down to. This restaurant says it's got swaad Uttar Bharat ka and one bite into their Pahadi Murgh Tikka and you'll know their claims are right. If you're planning to visit with a large group, try out the Non-Veg Kebab Platter that comes with Ajwaini Fish Tikka, Tandoori Chingri Kebab, Angara Murgh Tikka, Malai Tangdi Kebab, and Mutton Galouti Kebab. Do try their Karachi Rajma Seekh, Dhabe Ka Kheema, and Murgh Yakhni Pulao. End your meal with chaas or shikanji.
If you're ready to devour some delicious food, you've got to head out to DOF Cafe located in Habsiguda, Hyderabad. The Thai Grilled Chicken with Rice and vegetables, is one of their best selling dishes. They also have perfectly cooked spaghetti in tangy tomato sauce. If you want to try something light, you can order their sandwich with fries or a healthy salad. They also have waffles, pizzas, momos and churros.
