Whenever there is a new place in town, we get high as a kite. You know this — with every restaurant and cafe bringing only their A-game with Instagram-worthy ambience, fusion dishes, and cocktails, you wouldn't want to stop with just one visit. Know the feels? Now here's a list of new places in Hyderabad that you must check out, fo sho.
Have You Checked Out These New Restaurants In Hyderabad Yet?
Comic Social — a new cafe in Jubilee Hills is not the kind you'd quickly pop by on a rushed day. It's the kind you'd rather make time for. And why not — it's Hyderabad's first comic-themed cafe. Splashed with wall art (by Hoozinc) of our favourite superheroes like Deadpool, Hulk, Batman, this cafe and library comes as a true delight for comic book fanatics. The best part about Comic Social is its spacious and natural light illuminates the space enough. Coupled with indoor seating and several outdoor nooks — sit wherever your mood demands. And not to forget, their food is equally smashing!
Sherlock's - Lounge & Kitchen
Sherlock's Pub has finally opened in Forum Sujana Mall. If you are looking for a pub to have a REALLY chill time with your gang, this one's it. While there's nothing Sherlock Holmes about this place — except random artwork of Holmes on the walls, you can score on great food. The entire place is done up in red, and you almost feel like you're entering a gaming zone. It has various seating areas that include both private zones, comfy sofas, high-chair, and bar-table seating. Do try their signature cocktails when you're here.
If you're familiar with the garden store Peacelily, you might be excited to know they've opened a cafe. And it looks every bit Instagram-worthy. Tucked away in the bylanes of Kavuri Hills, Hush Cafe is where you can spend a quiet evening. With a fine mix of outdoor seating with wall art and plants for the view and indoor seating with a cosy set-up, pick what your mood demands. The menu is an interesting mix of Indian food and continental dishes. Yup, you'll find both chicken biryani and pesto pasta under the roof.
Are you someone who enjoys eating eggy (and edgy) dishes? Captain Egg in Jubilee Hills certainly comes to your rescue. From basics like scrambled eggs and omelettes to pizza, they serve up more than 50 types of egg-based dishes. Do try their Note Bandhi Omelette, Exotic Egg Drop Soup, and desserts.
Fan of Asian street food? Have you tried a bao yet? Bringing a dish that originated in China, Abaotime is an exclusive bao outlet in Kavuri Hills that's not big on ambience. We say this because this place is basically a kiosk smacked between other food outlets. We tried Crispy Chicken Bao, Chicken 65 Bao, Mutton Kheema Bao, Smoked Lamb Bao, and Mushroom Bao. Served hot and packed with flavour, it does get messy because it's stuffed.
Kukki Di Rasoi
Tucked away in Kondapur, Kukki Di Rasoi is a dhaba-style restaurant that is serving up North Indian dishes. Cannot get enough of chole, aloo jeera, and ghee-laden paranthas? Kukki Di Rasoi is doing all this and more. These folks are already attracting people with their authentic lassi, homely thalis, and chill ambience. They are also doing Fried Litti Chokha and tandoori chai. Sounds great, nay?
