You don't always sit at a typewriter and bleed. Sometimes you're in dire need of guidance, discipline, and perhaps even technique. To give your writing a direction and a right nudge, we've collaborated with The Himalayan Writing Retreat for a series of creative writing workshops. Hosted by Chetan Mahajan (founder, The Himalayan Writing Retreat), The Craft Of Writing will take you through Plotting, Character, Setting, Editing, along with a class on 'Why We Write & Who Do We Write For' and the sixth (and the final class) is for you to reflect and go through your learnings. The first class is on Plotting and it's happening on May 16, Saturday at 11 am.
Chetan Mahajan is a well-known writing coach and heads The Himalayan Writing Retreat. His classes are interactive, absorbing, inspirational, and even humorous. He is a published author and he has an interesting story too — Chetan moved to the hills after quitting a successful corporate career. He wrote The Bad Boys Of Bokaro Jail and published it with Penguin. He also writes for The Hindu Business Line and Reader's Digest.
