The view from the beach is breathtaking and the experience is even more special when you take along your own tent and camp by the beach waters. You have the option of packing along with you some munchies or just stop by the multi-cuisine restaurant, Seagulls.

What Could Be Better
It tends to get very crowded (especially during the holiday season) so be prepared to be patient to get your tickets at the counter. You might have to stand in the queue for a while.
There is a fee for entry, boat ride, camera, and food. Tickets for adults cost INR 300 and is INR 150 for children aged below 10 years. It takes about 1/2 hour to reach the beach and life jackets will be provided. The famous banana ride at Goa has finally come down to Pondicherry at this beach! The beach is well guarded by coast guards so there is no worry.
