We never say no to a good buttery paratha and we certainly never say no to a place that serves us a hearty plate. Popular Punjabi Paratha House in Sindhi Colony is Hyderabad's little secret and we're glad we stumbled upon it. A tiny space with legit six tables, this place is buzzing with foodies who don't mind standing with their plates if there's no space. We were lucky enough to find a table inside the packed restuarant (though we had to share it with another couple).
A no-nonsense menu that justifies the place, they had plenty of paratha options along with rotis and rice. We ordered their chef special Balle Balle Paratha along with Channa Masala, Aloo Gobi Paratha, and Methi Paratha. All three dishes were excellent and the size was just perfect to not make us feel stuffed. Made with desi ghee, there is nothing to complain about. These parathas came with green chutney (amazing) and onions.
Obviously, we ended our meal just right with a glass of lassi that took us to Punjab in each gulp. Will we go there again? Absolutely! Are we recommending this place to you? Hundred per cent.
