What Makes It Awesome

Ever since Ranch grabbed our attention on Instagram, we've been waiting for it to open doors. Following a farm to table concept, Ranch Supermart in Jubilee Hills has lots to offer. Particularly to the chocolate lovers. International chocolate brands like Whittaker's, Toblerone, Wonka, Bounty, M&Ms share their aisles with candy rocks and Parle Kismi Toffee, etc. We grabbed as many chocolates as we could and swiftly moved to cheeses. We've spotted a few favourites — homegrown Koda Cheese (a must-try), Puck Cream Cheese, along with a wide range of common cheese brands (both Indian and international brands).

While we wished there was more coffee variants (Blue Tokai, Corridor Seven, and the like), Ranch has premium coffee brands like Davidoff, at the moment. The dry fruits and healthy snacks section is where we lingered on for a while because Ranch has its own range of dry fruits, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flavoured nuts, etc. All these products are from their farm and priced reasonably too.

The frozen foods section has all the usual suspects — frozen pizza, sausages, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, and a whole lot of meaty goodness that you won't walk out without. From ready-to-cook and ready-to-serve dishes to beverages from Raw Pressery, Coolberg, Starbucks — if mom is sending you to Ranch with a list, the chances are that you'll shop for more than what's needed. And we haven't gotten to the sauces, spreads, and snacks sections yet, which are so vast. Whether you're looking for healthy protein bars or cheesy nachos, you'll find everything that your mood demands.

Looking for pet food? Ranch has decked its aisles with chew toys, jerkies, chicken wrapped sticks, rolls, and biscuits. Time to treat that good boy at home with a jerky, isn't it?

What Could Be Better

While Ranch does have a lot of global brands, we expected to spot some more. Especially in the beauty and wellness, baked goods, and noodles/pasta sections. Since, most local supermarkets already offer these, we're hoping Ranch ropes in a larger catalogue.

Pro-Tip

Ranch has a loyalty program, and if you'd like to grab more deets, check at their counter or call them.
