Students of IIIT Hyderabad, we know there's plenty to eat inside your campus. In fact, we've got a thing for your meals and juices (that avocado juice tho) but if you are craving something other than your mess ka khaana, this recommendation is for you. Here is a list of places to grab a meal around IIIT Hyderabad.

Sardarji's Traditional Punjabi Palate

Sardarji's is for those of you who cannot get enough of buttery paranthas and tikkas. If comfort food is what you're seeking, make haste for lunch hour is their busiest and you might have to fight your way to find a table. But when you do, start your meal with Special Dahi Bhalla and move on to Chicken Seekh Kebab. Known for juicy kebabs, this iconic joint also makes mindblowing Mutton Galouti Kebab and Boti Kebab.

GD's Burgers

Tucked away in Jayabheri Enclave, GD's Burgers is one of the busiest stalls. Go for their burgers – Neptune (a fiery combo of chicken, chocolate, nuts & cheese), Jupiter (grilled potato and pan-fried veggies) and starters – Uranus (Grilled Boneless Fish Fillet). GD’s also has a special item on their menu – Equinox Leg 1 kg – smoked and grilled BBQ lamb. But to relish this, an order has to be placed a day in advance.

Marley's Joint

If you haven't been to Marley's Joint in Gachibowli, about time you go now. This all-vegetarian cafe also serves vegan food and it's a quaint cafe with minimal seating. Quite hippie, if you ask us! If you are lucky, you might spot people jamming too. Their specialty is Lebanese food and when you're here, you've got to treat yourself to Shroom Addiction Salad, Garlic Mushroom Wrap, Kadai Veg Curry. Their Choco Peanut Butter Shake is worth giving a shot!

Over The Moon Brew Company

A painted OTM bus in the courtyard welcomes you into the bar with colourful floors and a plush seating area. Pick the outdoor seating if you are looking for less noisy space, but we recommend the indoors and their Special Drinks menu that has plenty of cocktails, infused drinks (vodka or white rum-infused cocktails), and classics like daiquiri and martinis done in OTM style. With drinks, order the food off their Truckers Stop as Pita Cones stuffed with tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, sour cream, and a choice of chunky chicken or grilled prawns.

Their South Indian meals are quite delicious too. This place is usually quite crowded and you might have to share your table with strangers so go here if you're completely cool with breaking bread with strangers.
