There’s nothing quite like connecting with a great new artiste and we’ve found one emerging musician worth your streams. Sidharth Bendi. A 21-year-old who started his journey with music at a very young age and now is a common name in the city's music circuit. This independent singer's songs have beautiful lyrics, a good composition of music, and a pleasing voice. Sidharth credits the school (Hyderabad Public School) for encouraging him towards music. And also, his mother who identified his good voice and thus, got him enrolled in a music class. But officially, it all started in 2015, when he got his first paid show and that got followed by a lot more. Then, in September 2017, his first EP came out ‘One In A Million’ where Akhil Kodamanchili (musician), who was the producer for the album, helped him. After two years, he launched his second EP—Lost. And now, there are more songs set for release in the coming months from this solo acoustic pop performer who takes inspiration from Ed Sheeran.
But the story doesn’t end there. He also started an initiative ‘The Beautiful World Movement’. They do shows and open mic sessions. The proceedings that they collect goes to animal shelters and orphanages. How did this come into the picture? It all started when he was penning the song ‘The Beautiful World’ (after the Paris attack) which required him to visit a few orphanages to shoot the music video. And now, it has become a medium to contribute to society in a meaningful manner.
So, if you want to check out his albums or want to be part of the initiative in any way, reach out! FYI, you can also catch him on his YouTube channel talking about the basics of music and so much more.
