Bright, comfortable, and worth owning every piece — Tag the Label is one of our latest brand crushes! When we stumbled upon this brand on Instagram, we were wide-eyed. And why not? With fresh prints and lovely colours, Tag is all about adding a twist to the summer clothing. Founded by Tanisha Gupta, an undergrad at Pearl Fashion Academy, it was her dream to float her own fashion label ever since she was 13.
Tag seeks its inspiration from summer and crafts clothing that reminds us of the summers. So, expect light-weight fabric, simple and bright prints, and comfortable fit. Two things worth checking out: Head In The Clouds (a blue-printed dress) and Black Beauty Shirt (a combination of two prints). Apparently, the Black Beauty is also a best-selling piece along with the Flower Child Top, which features dramatic sleeves. Everything is priced between INR 750 and INR 1,300, and the brand intends to keep itself pocket-friendly and accessible to college-goers too.
Soon, the brand plans to launch more summer dresses, coordinate sets, etc. Although the brand uses only cotton at the moment, their future collections will include linen, crepe, and viscose too. Plus, they produce in small batches to incorporate slow fashion so you can expect some eco-friendly collections too. Guess we discovered awesome just about summertime, isn't it?
