What Makes It Awesome?

#788 Avenue is designed to look tiny from the outside, but it's spacious and beautiful on the inside. The ambience here is stunning, with a corridor decorated with hanging books, world clocks, sepia photographs and lights, leading you to the main restaurant. Dim lights, comfy seats and round tables make it perfect to go with bae, and they have live music to make it all the more romantic. We tried their Jalapeño Cheese Poppers, Pan Fry Noodles and Seven Treasure Fried Rice. The Pan Fry Noodles are easily our favourite amongst them, as they were crispy and served with delicious sautéed vegetable gravy, and just as spicy as we’d like it! However, we’d pass the fried rice as it seemed insipid. The Gooey Chocolate Cake is a must try here. Oh, the melting of warm brownie with vanilla ice cream in our mouths is something we loved!

They also have an open air/backyard seating where you can sit under the stars, and sip some drinkies. There’s also an in-house macaw that will pose with you! So for the love of birds, books and bae, check this place out now!
