What’s Happening at Swadesh on Women’s Day?

At the Swadesh Store in Alcazar Mall, Jubilee Hills, will be an evening that celebrates women empowerment and the unique artistry of India —An Evening of Storytelling, Craft, and Inspiration” where six award-winning women craft masters will showcase their exquisite handcrafted works. Sunetra Lahiri, D. Sivamma, Arroju Dhanalaxmi, Swara Chitrakar, Sukanti Meher and Asha Jha are the ones whose art will be showcased and celebrated, along with a fireside chat with Tanya Chaitanya.

This will be an unforgettable evening filled with flavors of Indian cuisine, a blend of classical and contemporary music, and the chance to experience the intricate art of Chikankari embroidery up close. It’s a celebration of culture that promises to leave you with lasting memories
