Gather your squad peeps, because our favourite rooftop bar — Tiki Shack — has now opened in Gachibowli. So, obviously, we checked it out and here are the deets.
Our Favourite Rooftop Bar Is Now In Gachibowli & You Can Get Insane Shots In Helmets There
What Makes It Awesome
Tiki Shack opened its Gachibowli branch in March, and is it any wonder that this branch already has the party animals flocking to it already? Thankfully though, it is roomy, so it doesn’t get crowded. Being more spacious than its Jubilee Hills counterpart, this branch comprises an indoor and an outdoor seating. With quirky walls done up by Hoozinc, and their signature orange bulbs hanging from cane baskets on the ceiling and candlelit high seat tables — Tiki Shack has retained its signature ambiance here too. Other familiar accents in the decor include life jackets and ring buoys.
Go here to unwind on Friday nights after work, or when you feel claustrophobic at other pubs since the outdoor seating is breezy and they offer all the same amenities as their other branch, including live music by a DJ, live entertainment, and WiFi. So, dance without having to worry about stepping on your neighbours’ feet here and still feel the Tiki Shack vibes!
Among drinks, they have everything from the regular margaritas, and beer to desi and angrezi whiskey. The options for those who prefer to have cocktails and martinis are plenty too, ranging from an orange mojito, ginger and mint to coconut and watermelon variations. If you’re up to try something bizarre and be drunk out of your wits, you can try the Helmet Pop (for INR 980) which is an experience in itself. This involves finishing your drinks bottoms up with a helmet that gets smashed with every glass you gulp. While there are many continental dishes here, it has finger food too. While we were more into the drinks, we loved our chilly cheese toast & spring roll, which were both crunchy and delicious. They also have three types of biryani (Bhez, Chicken, and Gosht) that you can try if you need something filling. The staff is friendly and quick with their service. The prices too are same as the ones in Jubilee Hills (pocket-friendly, yaaas)
