One cannot have too many ethnic outfits if you live in a country like ours that's always buzzing with festivities and celebrations.  That's probably why we've always got our eyes on shopping (or it's just a our excuse to hide our obsession for shopping!). Any hoo, If you're just satiating your need to discover and score the best festive wear or have an occasion you really need to shop for, here is a list of our favourite Indian brands who we think have gotten the formula right. Shop your heart out and nail that festive look.

You guessed it right. This label is indeed based out of Rajasthan, and it's is the perfect mix of comfort and style. Their festive range is an ode to Indian styles that showoff hand block prints (bandhani, bagru, sanganeri) best. Gota patti dresses, hand block printed anarkalis and angrakha kurtas with fancy sleeves! Kessa Wear

Kessa Wear is an online store that specialises in Indian fabric outfits. The first thing that caught our eye is their Sky Blue Linen Kurta Pant Set and Striped South Cotton Blouse & Palazzo Set. Perfect for summers, these outfits mostly come in light or candy colours. If you are looking for something slightly elaborate, do check their Complete Suit Sets featuring hand block prints, gota work, etc. If you are someone who loves easy-breezy Indian wear, this brand is for you. Their Kurta-Dupatta, Kurta-Pant Sets are also worth trying if you don't want to spend too much time scouring.

Quirky is so in with Gray & Green and their outfits like hand block printed checks dress and brush painted sarees are some of our favourites. Whether you like floral prints or stripes and checks, be prepared to lay your eyes on everything pretty while browsing through their collection. We've been loving the button up wrap dresses and sarees with prints of chunky cars, birds. Taking the saree game a notch up above, all the pieces are hand block-printed and have subtle colours that are easy on eyes. You can wear them to work too. You could also go for the blockprint dupattas and suit sets.

This Bombay-based brand has been creating quite a stir with its ruffled sarees and contrast blouses. Combining age-old weaving traditions that our artisans are familiar with, Suta is giving sarees a creative spin, and we aren't complaining. Their saris are ideal for anyone who likes drapes that are dramatic but not blingy. Take your pick from hand-painted, ikat, kalamkari, jamdani, and plenty of other materials from their saree collection, and we bet you'll make a statement.

With new arrivals ushering in almost every day, Bunaai is often our go-to store for budget (and offbeat) lehengas and kurtas. This brand gets its pieces designed in-house and the quality is top-notch. The suit collection that comes with a kurta, pant, and dupatta is legit out of a Bollywood movie, and it has something for everyone. Bandhani, indigo prints, pastels, Shibori, tassels, tie-dye — the store has stocked it all up. We even loved their miller cotton jumpsuits which are airy, bright and super elegant.

Subtle and pastel hues, flowy patterns, and comfortable clothing sound like your jam? Say hello to Vintage Loom - a sustainable brand that's maximising on minimalism and making cotton dresses look so dreamy! Their collection includes kurtas, bottoms and dupattas. Their self-chequered cuffed sleeve kurtas were out fave and we also loved the dupattas they had on offer, perfect to go with white salwar suits. Know more about the brand here.

They do flowy cotton kameez, kurtas and anarkalis, handmade with traditional block printing techniques and fabrics sourced from Jaipur. Started by a law-grad-turned designer, this online store does beautiful angrakahas too. Their Ifrah Pink Anarkali Kurta is our fave. Their chiffon kurtas look slightly dressy. Two reasons why we love this brand - their designs are simple and unique, and there's plenty to choose from. Straight kurtas, anarkalis, palazzos, colourful dupattas and co-ords - take your pick. We're obsessed with their straight sets that look dressy but not OTT. The colour range is pretty impressive too. While it's their kurta sets that are all the rage, you can also shop for their lehengas here.

Palazzo Sets and floral prints, a match made in heaven we say! Myshka is one of our bestselling brands and we absolutely adore their Indian and fusion wear. You get kurtas in stripes, mandarin collars and end three-fourth sleeves. Ask us and we will point at the floral side pleated kurta. We personally love their Anarkali Kurta Sets with pants and dupattas and even the monotone strappy kurta and pant with contrast embroidered dupatta set. We shall also recommend the scallop hem detail monotone kurta with dhoti pants set - it's elegant and #somethingdifferent.

Our go-to brand for trendy ethnic wear, BIBA has something for every taste, budget and occasion. Most of their collection - including casual cotton kurtis, dupattas, lehengas, cocktail gowns – is floral inspired. If you love floral designs and motifs, this brand is for you. Also, if you’re a fan of wearing comfy kurtis to your workplace, BIBA has tons of cotton kurtis with multiple prints, styles and hues. Also, check out their bottom wear which includes an array of leggings and printed palazzos.
