TUNI Tales is a sustainable home fashion brand that specialises in handcrafted aprons, cushion covers, quilts, bed linen, and more. Interested in some ikat aprons? Then grab some from TUNI. Crafted with a desire to create conversational pieces of textile for home, TUNI Tales is the brainchild of Mrinmayee Kundalia, a NIFT graduate. Fascinated with home decor from an early age, Mrinmayee founded TUNI which implores us to look beyond the functionality of home linen.
With fine minimalistic prints and contemporary designs, TUNI’s products are statement pieces. Love frills and wings? You can grab cushion covers and linen that come with frills and wings, which are apparently favourites amongst the customers. Although we are loving the ikat print home linen, TUNI works with its customers to create and customise relatable pieces. Aiming to be a zero-waste brand, it has been creating a line of products with their textile waste.
Apart from kitchen and table linen, the most popular products are the quilts and crib sets. Done in pretty prints (monochromes, bougainvillea, oceanic) and textures, these are sure to add some colour to your home. The quilts are made from soft, breathable cotton and are handwoven which makes them usable throughout the year.
Priced between INR 990-INR 14,000, TUNI has a studio in Sanath Nagar, but they receive a number of online orders (for existing collection and customisations) too.
