Give Meat A Miss & Check Out These Vegetarian Restaurants In Hyderabad
Want to tuck into good vegetarian food? Well, our Nizami city is no stranger to vegetarian restaurants and we made a list of all our favourites. Go with your bae, go with your fam, or just drag your non-vegetarian friends and have wholesome meals at these places.
Known as the Hotel New Udupi Anand Bhavan now, the meals here are an all-vegetarian affair. At INR 55, you can order their Plate Meals that come with dal, curry of the day, rice, roti, papad, and more. This is a filling meal, and you can finish it off with a glass of Butter Milk. Yum!
This authentic all-vegetarian restaurant is super tiny and it barely has four tables but you can find people huddling in a corner, waiting for their table. If you find yourself in the queue, we recommend patience as you are going to love the food. Simple, no fussy affair defines Brahmin's and at the counter, you can check what's available, place your order and your food arrives in no time.
A'la Liberty is an all-vegetarian restaurant with two outlets in the city. We absolutely love ditching à la carte, and go straight for the buffet. They have a diverse spread that covers everything from North Indian to Continental food. So, whether you're in the mood for gobi manchuria and pulao or pasta and pizza, you'll have a great time here. Don't you fill yourself with the starters, as the main course is equally amazing!
Jalpaan in Begumpet is our obvious choice when we're looking for a vegetarian buffet. Don't go here expecting an extravagant spread, as they have a decent number of dishes only. But, boy, they are scrumptious! Everything from Tomato Shorba to Paan Shot is vegetarian here. So fill up your plates with a jolly meal, and follow it up with some chaat & pani puri too.
With three outlets in Hyderabad, this vegetarian restaurant serves authentic Rajasthani dishes. Bikanervala is a simple family restaurant that packs a wholesome menu and large seating area, enough to accommodate a family for 10, too. They serve South Indian, North Indian, and Chinese cuisines, but we keep going back for their Delhi style chaat and desserts like jalebi with rabdi. Yum, yum!
Rajdhani Thali Restaurant
Bringing the best of Rajasthani and Gujrathi dishes together, Rajdhani is an only-thali restaurant. Indulge in the dal baati churma, dahi vada, and different types of roti made from jowar, bajra, etc. Relish the dal and aloo curries or the khichdi and kadhi. There is so much more that keep arriving in your plate even if you say no. End your meal with a glass of buttermilk or malpua and other desserts served with your thali. Although the thali is priced at INR 490, on Tuesdays, you can grab it at INR 250.
