If you have a liking for ceramics and can't stop yourself from buying some whenever you spot them, we have a new store in town you should check out! We found Clay and Glaze's Hyderabad branch via Instagram and fell in love with their aesthetic ceramic ware. We decided to check it out, and weren't disappointed one bit. All the ceramics here are made by potters in Pondicherry using stoneware, lithium, barium and lead-free glazes.
The Studio is housed in a peaceful neighbourhood in Jubilee Hills. When you enter, the first thing you set your eyes on is a beautiful wall mural and a chic seating section which is done up like a living room instantly giving the space a comforting vibe. We decided to browse, starting from the drink ware section where we found coffee and beer mugs, and tea cups in several trending designs. For those of you who can't start your day without filter coffee, we even found beautiful ceramic Davaras, ya'll!
Another unique addition at Clay and Glaze were their ceramic wine holders and intricate Dhoop stands. And since summer has set in, you could also get your hands on some terracotta bottles that come with their own tumblers. We also found planters both for gardens, indoor spaces, and balconies. Also, while you're there, don't miss out on the stunning drip glazes on the ceramic ware, they're certainly some of the best you'll find in the city.
