Next Galleria Mall in Irrum Manzil is the up and coming mall in the centre of the city, and if you're heading there to shop or watch a movie, check out WAFL Cafe in their food court. Not just your usual waffles, they have a range of interesting dishes made of waffles that caught our attention.
For starters, they serve all-day breakfast which includes dishes like WAFL & Scrambled Eggs with Sausages, Grilled Cheese WAFL Toasts, WAFL Omelette. You can also ask them for a side of beans with any of the breakfast options (psst, whipped cream too). We got our hands of WAFL Hong Kong which is basically scoops of ice creams and toppings in a bubbly waffle cone. We tried the OG Oreo Hong Kong and cleaned up the entire thing.
Curious about their Corndogs, we tucked into Potato Bites Corndog as per the chef's recommendation. It came with two dips, chilli garlic and spicy mint-mayo which amped up the taste of hot and flavorful potato. One serving has two corndogs and no, they're not made of corn, they're again, made of waffles. Savoury waffles, that's right! The service was pretty quick (10 mins for freshly made waffle dishes), and while you're at it, do try the WAFL Sandwich along with a dollop of whipped cream.
