Weave A Successful Yarn At This Bhujodi Handloom Workshop

If you have ever been to or plan to visit the Rann of Kutch, you will not miss out Bhuj. But beyond the city, there is a major textile centre -- Bhujodi. Taking inspiration from there, Handpicked is organising Bhujodi handloom weaving workshop by Ramesh Vankar. There are three ways in which you can participate. First, watch the weavers weave on the loom, understand the process, ask questions, learn something new. You can gift how much ever amount you want directly to the weavers. Second, interested to weave your own piece of fabric? Book your slot for your 1:1 time with the loom, the weavers will be there to guide you. This will cost you INR 1,000 per hour. Yarn, loom and weaver’s guidance will be provided, you can take home the fabric woven by you and frame it. And third, encourage the weavers by exploring their collection of sarees, dupattas, stoles, fabrics and buy them.
