Summer is here, but before we start complaining about the scorching heat, here's a lil something to get you started to up your summer fashion game. We've found some of the comfiest, softest apparel so you can spend the rest of your days chillin' in your summer best! 

Nicobar

Nicobar in Banjara Hills is an Indian brand that crafts Indian-inspired clothing, home decor, and accessories. There is nothing that speaks comfort better than slouchy stripe pants, Jodhpuri pants or slip dresses from Nicobar. The bomber jackets, culottes, and breezy dresses and overalls adds to the brand's signature apparel. Heading to Goa or Gokarna, this holiday season? You've got to stock up on floral shorts and nautical print dresses from Bombay Fashion. This store is tucked inside the lanes of Madhapur and is a budget haven as it sources all its clothes from the popular Fashion Street of Mumbai. The store is quite small, and as you step in, you'll find aisles and aisles of shorts, and hot pants that'll set you back at INR 250 and upwards.

Soma Shop

Soma Shop is a hidden gem that is packed to the rafters with apparel and furnishing that are carefully hand block printed. This store is in Jubilee Hills and you can indulge in jumpsuits, kurtas, and dresses. They've got stoles and scarves too. You can also find beautiful kidswear and menswear at the store.

The House of Hoor

Summers call for flowy and airy apparel. We found beautiful wrap dresses, kurta suits, and kaftans in The House of Hoor's collection designed by Umera Mohammed. We love that her collection focusses on everyday luxury so you can look chic and put together while being super comfy. They have a host of chiffon, linen and muslin apparel, right in time for the scorching summer heat. With uber feminine and modest designs, get ready to feel your dainty best this summer.

We found easy-breezy dresses and tunics in floral prints at Label Macara. We love that some of them are dressy enough to be worn to get-togethers and parties. The label is run by sister duo Bindusha and Pratyusha Botta who started the label as an ode to their mother. They do lehengas and sarees if you're looking for some, this wedding season. They also offer customisations on all their designs. We love their pastel dresses with hand-embroidered floral patterns in Mul Mul, linen, and Kota fabrics starting at INR 3,000. 

Uri by Mrunalini Rao

Designer Mrunalini Rao is synonymous with gorgeous wedding apparel in Hyderabad, but have you checked out her ready to wear brand yet? If dainty tiered dresses in pretty pastel shades are your mood this summer, and you don't mind splurging, check out their collection that has dresses, co-ord sets, salwar suits in organic cotton starting at INR 9,000. They stock at Mrunalini Rao Studio, Anonym, and Elahe Urban at present. 

Di'Reev Chikankari

If you love chikankari kurtas, then we found some great cotton and georgette options at Di'Reev Chikankari's Punjagutta store at the Next Galleria Mall. We love that the brand does away with stiff fabrics and instead, has beautiful kurtas, sets and maxi dresses in the softest fabrics. 

De'Wardrobe

On a budget and want to pick up some trendy basics? Head to the De'Wardrobe store in Kukatpally for trendy pants and floral dresses. The store also has hair accessories, footwear and handbags with prices starting at a neat INR 300. 

Translate - Handwoven Ikat

Translate has some of the most chic Ikat dresses, kurtas, pants and scarves in unique designs. We'd pick their apparel for fancy outings to stay comfy throughout the day. 

Shiloh by Sophie

If you're looking to revamp your office fits, check out Shiloh by Sophie's office wear with pieces that are both flowy and structured. The designs are also a unique fusion of boho-chic blended with Indian, so you can easily style the pieces with chunky oxidised jewellery, mascara and smoked eyeshadow to complete your Indian-Boho outfit.

This new store in Banjara Hills is slowly becoming the hottest store in town for fuss-free tunics, flowy summer dresses and chic co-ord sets (with pockets!) While the apparel looks chic, we love that the range here starts at an affordable INR 1,200.
