Exotic Meat To Delicious Cocktails: Here's Where To Eat & Drink In Gachibowli

The information in this post might be outdated

Gachibowli is an urban concrete jungle and come evening, you'll find peeps stepping out of their offices in search of new restaurants or deals on bars. Think you found no cool place to hang? Then follow us to the coolest and often the lesser known places in the area. It's a food trip, y'all!

Deli 9

If you love the Begumpet branch of Deli 9, you're sure to adore its Gachibowli branch too. The decor is far cooler and has funky wall graffiti and neon lights. The food is always quite good here, and we love their rice bowls. The fusion Manchurian bowls and Schezwan bowls make for an epic Monsoon snack, but our all-time favourite is the Khow Suey Bowl. The soup isn't thick and is more like a gravy. It goes really well with the noodles, and the fried peanuts and onions just add the right crunch. Take our word for it, and go eat.

AB's Absolute Barbecues

Love exotic meat? Then knock yourself at AB's Absolute Barbecues — a restaurant that took Hyderabad by storm. Forever crowded with corporates and large groups lunching here, you'll definitely have to reserve a table much in advance. But when you do find a table, chow down on all their chicken and mutton delicacies while queuing up at the exotic meat counter to get your share of emu, shark, starfish etc.

Absolute Sizzlers

Located inside SLN Terminus, Absolute Sizzler is sort of a hidden gem that we quite enjoy for our sizzlers. The service is a little slow here, but all is forgotten when the food is so good. While we tried plenty of sizzlers here, our constant is the Spicy Chicken Sizzler which has flavourful pepper sauce. Accompanied by fresh steamed veggies and mash potato or wedges, you can ask for rice or noodles, as per your choice, and dig in!

Urban Asia - Kitchen & Bar

If Asian and Thai delicacies are your comfort food, sign up for a Sunday Brunch at Urban Asia - Kitchen & Bar. Make a meal out of dimsums, sushi, and unlimited desserts. Don't you forget to get your Sunday buzz on with the cocktails on the offer! Plus, the music here will perk up your spirits.

Cafe Eclat

Get stumped by the varieties offered at this cafe. They have a large menu that is filled with coffee, ice teas, sweet treats, baked goods, and regular nibbles. We love the omelettes and bagels here that we enjoy with a cup of Hot Caramel Matcha Latte. Don't like matcha? This might just change that for you. On your way out, get yourself some biscottis and freshly baked bread packed. We recommend the Seedy Bread and Tuscan Baguette.

The Fisherman's Wharf

Find a little bit of Goa in Hyderabad at The Fisherman's Wharf. Find your way through the seafood and Goan delicacies, and call it a party. But if you love desserts or the Goan-specialty, Bebinca, this might be the only place in the city where you can grab a bite of it.

Komatose

The drink deals during the Happy Hours at Komatose will keep your wallets hale and hearty. The beer starts at INR 75 and so does the rum. Plus, the ambience is amazing for you to hang with your bae as well as friends. On Saturdays, they throw in a BBQ Nite where you can just grill and chill (Hey, that's what they say). Plus, this nite has epic food and drink varieties apart from a buffet. Go wild, hoomans!
