As the city restaurants open post Lockdown, one of the best Asian place in town Honk has geared up and opened keeping all new norms and care in place. Keeping in pace with the COVID guidelines the outlet clearly know how to tickle taste buds. @HONK at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity
Known for its contemporary Asian menu. Carefully crafted by Neeraj Tyagi who is now the culinary director with the brand is no new face. The food is inspired by Pan Asian street-style cuisine popular in Asia, primarily Chinese and Japanese with a glimpse of Thai and Singaporean Honk makes sure that its ingredients are righty procured from respective places, hence no compromise with taste and quality.
Well sanitized cutleries, mask pouch and each staff carefully masked rest assured the food gets the best of treatment. Be it their Vietnamese fresh spring roll with prawn, Thai pomelo salad, Unagi dragon maki, Prawn har gao, Chicken and chives dumpling along with Traditional pork xiao long bao, everything is just perfect. While Anurag, the man behind the bar made sure my glass never went empty with Japanese High Ball, Korean Mist and more. The surprise element were Crackling Belgium pork belly with mustard sauce and castor sugar, Crispy Atlantic ocean cod with golden garlic crumbs. With barely any place for mains, on chefs insistence tried Braised iberico pork belly, stir fried clay pot chicken and Kunming pot rice with prawn.
To end on a sweeter note, don’t miss their Orange walnut butter cake and chocolate orange ice cream, These were just perfect. The taste is sure to linger long.
Well with the weather getting better the beautiful outdoor seating is gonna be the best place to sit and sip.
