What’s that you say? Want to try a new whiskey? Well then, it’s a good thing that 21+ has just launched. A new age whiskey that is distilled and bottled in Bangalore, this one is meant to be an intense-but-easy-drinking one made from Scottish and Indian malts. Aimed at those who want to try #SomethingDifferent and with the hope of making whiskey, an otherwise intimidating drink, more accessible to all, it's just hit the market.
While we’re still to get our hands on a bottle of 21+, we’re told that it is a smooth whiskey that is malty and fruity but also has rich notes of oak wood. Of course that is due to the barrels it is matured in. Don’t worry if you’re new to whiskey drinking. It’s quite sweet, and gentle on the palate, especially when had with water. Priced at INR 1,850 for a 750ml bottle, this is currently only available in Karnataka.
