The stage is a magic circle, an arena where reality pauses to pave way for serene imagination! In his innumerable plays, Shakespeare overwhelmed his audience, touched their hearts and is yet unforgettable! One such remarkable stories of his, Macbeth has inspired our theatrical adaptation, “All the world’s a stage”. We, the students of The Shri Ram School are proud to present to you to our home production, “All the world’s a stage”. While Macbeth made you question life and reality, our play will bare social issues of the society through the life of Aditi, a young girl whose struggles, knit a mind boggling story. It is in a drama that an actor embodies not a character, but its struggle, its cause. The students uphold the cause of domestic violence and aim to enlighten and sensitise their audience through this breath-taking play! All proceeds from this play will be donated to the cause. The Maitri Organisation, our partners for the cause, has been working towards helping domestic violence victims since 2009. They are proud executioners of the “Project Samveda-Prevent and Reduce Violence Against Women” and have impacted over 37,000 people. We hope to augment their impact with our contribution!
