Boxout Wednesdays

A new night, called Boxout Wednesdays, will take up weekly residency at Delhi’s Summer House Café, one of the Capital’s most popular venues, from March 8. Designed to showcase sounds and styles that champion underground culture, the weekly gigs will be streamed live on Facebook and help build a community that’s unserved by mainstream media. The debut gig of the series on March 8 will feature a DJ set by hip-hop producer and MC, Brooklyn Shanti – a name familiar to most indie music fans in India, and seasoned American DJ and producer Tittsworth, who has played alongside the likes of Kanye West, Jamie XX, Green Velvet and Catz & Dogs among others at festivals around the world. Also playing on March 8 will be Dubai-based The 264 Cru associate C.O.B who will be playing a vinyl-only set.
