Ash Roy illustrious career has seen him perform around the world, including Germany, USA, India, Sweden, Netherlands, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Denmark, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bahrain and more! In 2004 Ash and his friends founded the fantastic electronica band Jalebee Cartel, which gained massive popularity globally. Jalebee Cartel was India’s answer to raw, real underground dance music. Since its inception, Ash provided all vocal and percussive elements for their memorable live performances. 2013 saw Ash launch his own dance music record label - Soupherb Records. Soupherb Records is an imprint of him and Ashvin Mani Sharma, co-founders of Jalebee Cartel. The aim of the label is to provide a platform for forward thinking and Experimental music producers in the genres of Techno, Minimal, House and all the sub genres that go with it. As an individual producer and a DJ, Ash’s style moves through genres that range from minimal to tech-house to techno. Other than homegrown label Soupherb, Ash Roy’s music has been released on various other prestigious labels such as Trapez Ltd., Monique Musique, Frequenza, Tulipa Recordings, Patent Skillz, Creepy Finger, amongst others. In the year 2014, Ash Roy also won two prestigious awards - MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' for the year 2014, as well as VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ'. These coveted awards along with his acclaimed release on Trapez Ltd. were the highlights of Ash's career in 2014. 2014 also saw him visit the USA, where he got an opportunity to perform at the magnificent Burning Man festival. The start of 2015 was just cracker for Ash since he won the Myfav India’s ‘Best Producer of the Year’ 2015. Beginning 2016 Ash won the Myfav India’s ‘Best Producer of the Year’ 2016 Ash moves base to Europe every summer to have a foot on both sides of the globe with his gigs – an annual appearance at the Fusion Festival in Germany, for instance. Ash has shared headliner space with the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Modeselektor and Carl Cox, played with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Sasha, Ambivalent, Cari Lekebusch, and Nic Fanciulli, individually and appeared on publications such as Rolling Stone, Euphoric mag and more.. CALM CHOR Very few have been as closely associated with India’s dance music scene as Ashvin Mani Sharma aka Calm Chor has. Ashvin’s 17 year long career has seen him storm dancefloors around the globe, from Paradiso in Amsterdam to Blue Frog in Mumbai, first with Jalebee Cartel, and after that under his solo techno avatar Calm Chor. In the year 2013, Ashvin co-founded Soupherb records, along with his friend and fellow artist/DJ – Ash Roy. In a span of 2, Soupherb records has built a reputation to be India’s finest underground dance music record label. Apart from being label head, producer, DJ & A&R at Soupherb records, Calm Chor also represents Bass 9 records for A&R. Ashvin is constantly touring India, owing to his distinct sound and enthralling sets. Every summer he tours Germany extensively for over 2 months (for 5 years now), playing at some of the best festivals and clubs in the country. 2014 saw him visit USA for the first time, where he got an opportunity to perform at the prestigious Burning Man festival. Feb 2015 saw Calm Chor release his massive 8-track EP “Dancefloor Sci-Fi”, displaying his unique style in full force, on homegrown label Soupherb records. The EP went on to grab multiple spots on various charts on the world’s biggest online music portal, Beatport. It climbed to the #2 spot on the worldwide minimal charts and claimed that spot for a few days, staying in the top 10 for nearly 3 weeks, and even hit the Beatport overall Top 100 releases and stayed there for a long period of time. "LOOSE Is an underground techno project of Vaibhav Bhavsar aka Vaeya and Arjun Gandhi aka VIRUS. The objective of the project is to amalgamate a distinct mix of techno beautifully layered with deep groovy psychedelic sounds. Both of them have been around in the electronic circuit for quite sometime now. Now these forces combine to create a totally different experience with lots of live samples, loops , atmospheres with techno being the core of it all. Experience a journey into the underground."
