The first edition of DECAF brings together artists, publishers, curators and animators from the field of comic arts over 3 days for talks, book launches and presentations. There is also an accompanying Exhibition of works by participating artists at the Venue : of lines and TALES=I and II (from 4th Dec to 12th Dec) Venue: IIC, Delhi. Title - Superheroes, Mythology and Halahala Kokaachi (Publisher’s Presentation), India. Title- A journey in Indie-comics making Film Session 1( A compilation of Animation Films curated by Sekhar Mukherjee, NID), BREAK 4.45 p.m to 6.00 p.m - SESSION 2 Amruta Patil (Artist’s Presentation), France. Title- Forests of Transformation Josef Yohannes (Artist’s Presentation), Norway. Title - The Urban Legend : Why I created a Superhero Jana Jakoubek (Curator’s Presentation), Switzerland. Title - Fumetto Festival Lucerne : A comic festival built on bridges BREAK 6.15 p.m to 7.30 p.m- SESSION 3 Launch of the book “The Elephant in the Room”, An Indo-German anthology, Published by Zubaan.
