Heroes Without Capes: Watch As Select Citywalk Honors These Courageous Champions

Well, it’s true! Not all heroes wear capes. But what they all do have in common is their kindness, pure compassion and love for people in general. A few such heroes came to our rescue during an unprecedented crisis and truly went above and beyond in their attempt to help the community. From arranging food supplies to distributing ration kits,  ensuring sanitization for all to also giving equal importance to everyone’s mental health, they became the #RealLifeHeroes the world needed.

Hemkunt Foundation- @Hemkunt_foundation

From serving over 50,000 ration kits, 3,000 oxygen concentrators, and 5,200 oxygen cylinders throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Hemkunt Foundation truly gave their everything to ensure the safety and welfare of those suffering. Not only this, the foundation is still serving over 500 meals to marginalized communities each day.

The Good Food Project- @Goodfood_project

Nandini Ghosh and Shray Gupta of the Good Food Project raised over INR 15 lakhs through the second wave of the pandemic and words can't truly describe their efforts to help low-income families, distribute  ration kits, and specially lend a helping hand to the overlooked workers at crematoriums.

Little India Foundation- @Littleindiafoundation

Little India Foundation was founded by Saleem Khan and co-founded by Harsimar Chawla. The organization left no stone unturned during the pandemic and distributed concentrators, arranged hospital beds for those in need, donated ration kits, masks, slippers and 2 million cooked meals to the needy.

Laughter is truly the best medicine, and I guess, we all needed a little bit of that to get through the tough times. Of course Amit Tandon came to the rescue! He provided free laughter sessions to people affected with COVID and created a space where people can truly let their hearts out without any judgment and have at least one less thing to worry about!

With plenty of unfortunate things happening all around, sometimes it’s hard to keep your mental health in check. Divija Bhasin stepped up her content game by not only generating awareness about mental health issues and treatment through her content but also encouraged people to come forward and share their problems.
