A unique collection of Pankhas, traditional hand fans, will be exhibited from 25 May through 24 June 2018 at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi.
The exhibition features fans and related objects such as paintings, prints and films selected from the vast collection of eminent artist Jatin Das. The artist’s collection began with a single hand fan gifted to him from a friend and has grown over the past four decades to over 5,000 fans into a world-class archive, possibly the largest collection of its kind.
