Quizzing with Chugh & Chanty!

Hey all! We are back with our monthly quiz in November! This one will be a general quiz covering music, sports, geography to anything under the sun ! Come by with your own team, or join into an existing one, its your call! Infrequently Asked Questions a) How many members to a team We like to be liberal in these matters, but will probably draw the line at 5, unless persuaded otherwise b) What's in it for me? Goodies from the bar, Books from Hachette, the pleasure of our company, the sweat on your brow…. c) Format We're not sure yet. Expect it to be a mix of pen and paper and oral examination. Every gin joint in every city is different, so we'll take a few more nights and few more drink's before we figure out the method in our madness. d) Team names Keep it short. The more creative the name, the greater the chance you have of winning Chugh's affections. e) Questions? We're in a bar, you're drinking, so we're not exactly going to be asking you stuff which needs deep thought. All we ask is that you have a reasonable idea of the world around you - sports, film, current affairs, and occasionally take a creative leap to connect two thoughts in your head which add up to an answer. Profiles of the qizzers - Chugh aka Dr. Sanjay Chugh Dr. Chugh is a Shrink by training and occupation for close to 25 years now but at heart is an inveterate quizzer. When he is not grappling with the questions thrown up by his life or his clients' lives, he is thinking Trivia! He was a quizzer in school and college before he took to organising Quizzes at the Inter-School, Inter-College and Inter-University level. Hosting a serious - cum - fun Pub Quiz in Delhi has been a dream generated from participating in various pub quizzes in Goa. Chanty aka Vikram Achanta Vikram lives in Delhi, with his wife and 2 children, and when he's not grappling with the challenges of entrepreneurship, likes to write and run. He writes for a variety of Indian and International publications, including Mint, Man's World, The Man, Drinks International, Spiritz Magazine, Sommelier India and Forbes India. Vikram is co-founder of Tulleeho. Tulleeho has just released it's first book, a cocktail book, published by Westland, with a set of uniquely Indian recipes.
